Sabbath Sunday - Sept 6th

There will be no service or live stream on Sunday, Sept 6th, as we practice Sabbath rest. We encourage people to spend time in God, reflecting on His goodness and love.

Potluck Picnic - Sept 13th

Our next monthly picnic will be Sunday, September 13th after service. Join us at Doyle Park and bring a dish to share.

Every Jesus’ follower has a spiritual gift, and that means the Holy Spirit seeks to work through you! Come find out what your unique gift might be and how we can grow in using them to build the body of Christ.

Who We Are Instead

  We Are Together, Not Alone

When were you glad to not be alone?

Hebrews 10:19-25
19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Jesus’ way is together.
   - We need Jesus, we can’t do it alone.
   - We need others, we can’t do it alone.

Not Dependent nor Independent, but Interdependent

Life we can only do together:
   - Bearing each others’ burdens (Gal 6:2)
   - Encouraging and edifying (1 Thess 5:11)
   - Confessing sins (James 5:16)
   - Praying for one another (Eph 6:18)
   - Correcting and maturing (Eph 4:15)

We bring Jesus’ love when we build community.

Finding Rest In God

• For God to break the spirit of busyness and the feeling of always needing to be productive.
• For people to be able to create and protect the time to spend in rest with God.
• That every person would be able to commune with their Creator.
