Community Day -  Oct 11th (10am-2pm @ Doyle Park)

Our Community Day is coming up in a few weeks on Sunday, October 11th at Doyle Park. This is a day of intentionally being outdoors for our community to foster relationship, togetherness and share our Ethnos presence. It’ll be a potluck lunch as we get together for food, fun and friendship. Bring a dish or an activity to share, and pick up a few flyers on Sunday to hand out to your friends!

Parent Workshop: ‘Are My Kids on Track?’-  Oct 18th

Parents, join us on October 18, right after service at the church office, for our practical ‘Are My Kids on Track?’ parent workshop. We’ll explore children’s emotional, social, and spiritual milestones, with resources to use at home. Childcare volunteers are needed, and lunch will be provided; email to let us know if you can help!

UTC Community Group Book Study -  every other Friday

You're invited to join as the group reads "Liturgy of the Ordinary", about seeing God in the everyday, ordinary life.

Social Media Consent - We'd love for all regulars to be part of our digital platforms. In order for us to use your face on our social media and website, we're asking everyone to fill out a consent form, or to let us know if you'd like to be excluded.

Who We Are Instead

  We Are Unified, Not Uniform

 When has someone defended you?

We Are Empowered, Not Abandoned

John 14:25-27
25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Jesus’ Spirit helps us face life.

  • The Holy Spirit lives inside of us.
  • The Holy Spirit advocates for us.
  • The Holy Spirit reminds us of Jesus' teaching.

Romans 8:26-27
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

The Holy Spirit intercedes for us.

1 Thessalonians 1:4-6
4 For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, 5 because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. 6 You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is our source of power, conviction, and joy.

God wants you to know He is with you, in you, and for you.
