We are Emboldened, not Timid

We are Emboldened, not Timid

Oct 18, 2026

Passage:The Second Letter of Paul to Timothy 2 Timothy 1:3-14

Pastor: Scott Eng

Series: Who We Are Instead

Category: New Testament

Keywords: love, faith, god, trust, power, holy spirit, fear, growth, boldness, self control

Summary:

We can be bold because God is faithful. The Holy Spirit counters fear with power, love, and self control. The spirit gives power to counter our fear of failure, rejection. The spirit gives self control to counter our unsteadiness. Growing in trust requires doing hard things. Sometimes when God gives us something new, it's not resistance, but growth. Be bold and trust God.
