Unity requires breaking down barriers. Unity remembers our story of all being outsiders. Unity requires reconciliation and healing. The unifying force is Jesus. How do we be part of Jesus’ unifying work? 1) Praying for God to continually renew and soften our hearts of compassion for others, especially those who are different. 2) We each grow as we intentionally seek out relationships with those different from ourselves. 3) Be available for God’s reconciling work.
