FAQs

Do I need to prepare anything before coming? (reading, etc.)

No preparation required, we will read the material together and discuss.

May I join the discussions if I haven't been to the first or previous ones?

Yes! The questions are designed to be answered individually and will give context if any is needed.

What did people say they learned in part 1?

- Concise means of explaining complicated Christian beliefs/concepts.
- Discussion brings different answers and perspectives. I learned people shared similar experiences but also others have other experiences/cultures bringing new perspectives.
- That we are not our own but belong to God. Liked the intersection of what we learned with other ministry things.
- Basics (Christian) aren't really basic, and there are great concepts to revisit from time to time.
- I learned more about the multifaceted nature of God, re-visited what salvation means and why everyone needs it.
- Multiple theologies

What did people say they learned in part 2?

- Election is by the Father, Justification is by Jesus, & Sanctification is by the Spirit. I've never thought about it that way, but it's a great learning point.
- Learned how to express what having faith means concisely as well as justification and sanctification and how they both work hand in hand in the Christian journey.
- Christian basics is anything but basic.
