Ethnos Kids

Welcome Families!

Here at Ethnos Community Church we are committed to partnering with families to cultivate children’s love and desire for God. It is our mission to encourage and help children develop a strong faith foundation which will permeate into adolescent age. A few ways we target focus on our mission is through excitement, fun events, building relationships, and teaching in a relatable & reachable way.

What to Expect on Sundays

Our service starts with worship at 10:00 a.m. We have kids worship together with adults because we believe in intergenerational worship. We also believe that adults can teach kids about worshiping Jesus, and the kids can do so as well (Deut. 6:7, Matt. 21: 14-16). We allow kids to dance in the front and "make a joyful noise" during certain songs because we believe their freedom and joy are pleasing to Jesus and instructive for us (Matt. 21: 14-16).

NURSERY: ages 0-36 months (currently unavailable)

Our goal for the nursery is for your child to experience God’s love and gentleness through us, and in this way grow in their understanding of God. We pray for the children, teach them Bible stories, Bible verses, and songs about God. Parents are welcome to stay as we lay a foundation of God’s love and care.

PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY: ages 3 years-Kindergarten & 1st-5th grade

Our goal for the Preschool & Elementary class is to create a fun, encouraging, and safe environment where children can explore who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. With activities and games, interactive Bible stories from Think Orange curriculum, and life applications, children learn lessons from the Bible and explore how to apply it to their lives.

Check-in:

When you arrive at Ethnos, our Ethnos assistant will be ready to check your kid/s & print out two labels. One label is for yourself & the other is for your kid/s. Our label process is to verify families & safe protection. When kids are dismissed for class after worship, please walk your kid/s to the check-in location in the front of the school where you got your labels.

  • We kindly request that parents make sure kids use the restroom prior to checking them in.
  • If your kid/s have any allergies or special conditions, please explain them to the Children & Youth Pastor or our Ethnos assistant completing check-in. For allergies, make sure that a note about the allergy has been made in the check-in account so that it will be reflected on your kid/s name tag.

Check-out:

After the last song of service, please come promptly to the check-out location in front of the school to pick up your kid/s. Our Ethnos assistant will ask for you label. You must provide the documentation to pick up your kid/s.
