7/27 - Doyle Clean Up
On Sunday, July 27th, we will team up with Doyle Elementary School and the PTA to beautify the campus in preparation for the new school year. Please arrive at 10 a.m. ready to work outdoors, wearing appropriate clothing and bringing a hat, sunblock, water, work gloves, and any gardening tools or cleaning supplies you can provide. Lunch and water will be available, making it an excellent opportunity to invite friends to participate in this community service project. The school appreciates our support, so let’s come together to make a positive impact.

8/3 - Potluck Picnic
Get ready for a fun day at the park! If you missed our last picnic, don't worry because our next one is coming up on Sunday, August 3rd, at 12pm right after service at Doyle Park. It’s a potluck, so bring a dish to share for lunch! We’re excited for a fun time filled with delicious food and the chance to connect with one another.

8/10 - Book Club
Our next book club will kick off on August 10th. These gatherings are a great way to deepen your journey with Jesus. We will be reading The Good and Beautiful God: Falling in Love with the God Jesus Knows, which explores cultivating a richer understanding of God’s love and offers practices that energize us daily. Everyone can benefit from this experience, especially those seeking to engage with God more regularly.

Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting
Join us before service at 9 a.m. for our Sunday Morning Prayer Meetings. We'll gather outdoors in front of Doyle to pray for our church community and its leaders. Take this time to connect and listen to God. Everyone is welcome!

Ethnos Parents - New webpage to reduce paper waste! We're thrilled to introduce our Weekly Parent Cue webpage, where you can find resources to support your child's spiritual growth. This webpage is accessible with the passcode EthnosKids92122. It features weekly devotionals and guides that connect to what your kid/s learned in Sunday class! Check it out.

Community Groups (CG) - Community Groups are our way of connecting with one another throughout the week. Our hope is to foster friendships where we can be seen and heard in our authentic selves, and experience God's goodness with one another. The current CG schedule is listed below. If you're interested in checking one out, let us know by sending an email to

A Faith That Loves

When have you been interrupted?

Galatians 5:1-6

1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

We were created for love.

Galatians 5:7-12

7 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? 8 That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. 9 “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.” 10 I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion, whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty. 11 Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. 12 As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

Don't let Christian rules get in the way of Christian love.

Galatians 5:13-15

13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

Love frees us to love.

Revenge traps us. Love frees us.

To be free, respond with love.
